For us to brighten the holidays for over 1,100 local families we rely on your individual donations and community donation drives. Want to help a senior? View basket details. To aid families, start by viewing our basic holiday needs or the full list of participation options. A simple way to help is by conducting a virtual donation drive. Or you may learn about conducting a food drive and print food drive sign #1of 2 and food drive sign #2of2, or a Spanish food drive sign #2, learn about donating coats or print coat drive signs, learn about donating toys & gifts or print toy & gift drive signs. Want to involve young children? Donate a pre-made food box.All donations are needed by December 17th. Deliver to our Temporary Holiday Site dailly 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. through Tuesday, December 17th. Eat Smart, Live Strong participants visit food pantry
Seniors benefit from enhancements to popular PAN food distributions
Senior adults who qualify to receive monthly PAN (People and Nutrition) commodity food boxes are now receiving additional fresh vegetables, fruits and other foods during the newly named Eat Smart, Live Strong effort at the MSS food pantry. To learn more about Eat Smart, Live Strong food distributions for seniors, call Senior Adult Services at 972-242-4464. This expanded service is made possible by corporate sponsor Baylor Medical Carrollton November through January.

Merged operations and workforces now at Hutton Drive site
All services for seniors provided by the former Senior Adult Services are now provided through MSS offices on Hutton Drive in Farmers Branch. Local nonprofit Senior Adult Services merged with MSS in August.Read the latest news for seniors or Read more about the merger.
Family Volunteer Night December 5th
An opportunity for children & adults
Youngsters and parents are invited to volunteer together 7-8:30 p.m. Thursday, December 5th. One adult is required to accompany every 2 children and to work alongside them to ensure a meaningful volunteer experience. Registered participants are asked to bring smaall items for seniors such as lotion, fruit cups, socks, candy) which will be packaged during the night's activity.
